More news for filmgoers. Together with the German Film Days, currently ongoing, Bíó Paradís will also be hosting another event dedicated to world cinema: Pólskir Kvikmyndadagar, the Polish Film Days, a four-day event focused on films in Polish language. The Polish Film Days will take place between 23-27 March and admission to the screenings will be free.
The following five films, released between 2009 and 2010, will be screened at this edition of the festival:
- Rózyczka (Little Rose) by Jan Kidawa-Blonski
- Matka Teresa od kotów (Mother Teresa of the Cats) by Pawel Sala
- Wszystko, co kocham (All That I Love) by Jacek Borcuch
- Chrzest (The Christening) by Marcin Wrona
- Erratum by Marek Lechki
Rózyczka will open the festival on March 23. Chrzest was one of the films in competition at RIFF 2010, where it was awarded a special mention by the Church of Iceland.
