Festive Pseudo-Icelandic Wallpaper – And Merry Things to All

Yes, you guessed right: it’s time for the yearly festive wallpaper. This year no dangling heads and nasty Santas. It’s just an innocent origami puffin with some crook’d — and pretty much in need of ironing — text. Since there is shortage of actual puffins these days (shortage of the real thing , that is; we have more than enough stuffed birds all around gift shops), it’s always good to have a reminder. Besides being our wish to you, the message would be… Be nice and don’t eat puffins this Christmas: put one on your desktop, iPhone, etc. Uhm.

Iceland Chronicles Xmas Wallpaper
Paper puffins! Beware: not edible, just for decoration!

480×800 || 320×480 (iPhone) || 640×960 (iPhone) || 800×600 || 1024×768 || 1280×1024 || 1280×800 || 1600×1200 || 1920×1200

Well, to tell the truth, I hadn’t thought about any message before, I am making this up right now to make it look less random. And since I cannot fold paper for sour apples, I found more convenient to practice origami via Illustrator. Note that most of these will likely fit your desktop, even at different resolutions.

PS: your resolution is not here and you can’t make these work as you wished? Just drop us a line.
PPS: the reason there is not iPad version of this wallpaper is that on the iPad wallpapers must work both horizontally and vertically at the same time — and this is designed to work either in one orientation or in the other, but not in both.
