Here is the exact location of the eruption at Eyjafjallajökull, in the Fimmvörduháls path; data from the Icelandic Meteorogical Office. Map created by us through Google Maps.
UPDATE: map of the second eruption, which started in April 14, 2010 now available here.

Hello friends,
Thank you for compiling and providing this information about the recent eruption. I traveled in the general area in August, 2005, and I love Iceland very much. I try to keep up on what is happening there, both financially and now geologically, and your website was very helpful.
Þakka þér fyrir

Sue, thanks to you for your comment. We had connection problems over the past week in our flat, so updates were not too frequent. Please keep on visiting us.
Thanks for your site. It is fantastic.
Thank you for the excellant map. I was trying to work out what you have presented on my own from the weather satellites to see where the dust cloud is going. It seems to me that the yellow is volcanic ash. http://en.vedur.is/weather/observations/satellites/#teg=iceland
Thanks
Thanks a lot for your comment. By the way, the map of the second eruption is here, but I suppose you were already referring to it.
