More news for filmgoers. Together with the German Film Days, currently ongoing, Bíó Paradís will also be hosting another event dedicated to world cinema: Pólskir Kvikmyndadagar, the Polish Film Days, a four-day event focused on films in Polish language. The Polish Film Days will take place between 23-27 March and admission to the screenings will be free.

The following five films, released between 2009 and 2010, will be screened at this edition of the festival:

  • Rózyczka (Little Rose) by Jan Kidawa-Blonski
  • Matka Teresa od kotów (Mother Teresa of the Cats) by Pawel Sala
  • Wszystko, co kocham (All That I Love) by Jacek Borcuch
  • Chrzest (The Christening) by Marcin Wrona
  • Erratum by Marek Lechki

Rózyczka will open the festival on March 23. Chrzest was one of the films in competition at RIFF 2010, where it was awarded a special mention by the Church of Iceland.
