From the 24th to the 27th of March 2011, the city of Reykjavík will host the annual DesignMarch festival, an event that takes place yearly in the capital area at the beginning of Spring since 2009. DesignMarch is the occasion to get in touch with some of the most interesting currents of contemporary Icelandic design, through a series of happenings, exhibitions and lectures encompassing architecture, fashion, graphic arts and more. Designers from other areas of Europe, besides Iceland, are also going to play a relevant part in the festival, offering different outlooks through their work.
